DATO’ AMER HAMZAH BIN AHMAD<br />
53 years of age, Malaysian<br />
Non-Independent/Executive Director<br />
He was appointed to the Board on 8 December 2004 as an<br />
Executive Director. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of<br />
Science from University Malaya in 1976 and pursued the<br />
Programme Executive Development, MARA Institute of Technology.<br />
He has been involved in the business of manufacturing, marketing,<br />
general management and consultancy for over 28 years having<br />
held various senior executive positions at Nestle Malaysia Bhd,<br />
Cold Storage Malaysia <strong>Berhad</strong>, Malaysia Airport <strong>Berhad</strong> and<br />
Country Heights Holdings <strong>Berhad</strong>, all listed on the Main Board of<br />
Bursa Malaysia Securities <strong>Berhad</strong>.<br />
He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airport<br />
(Niaga) Sdn Bhd from 1994 to 1997 and Chief Operating Officer<br />
of Mines Resort City from 1998 to 2001. He held senior positions<br />
with various portfolio of companies in the field of property<br />
management and investments, resorts and hotels, theme park,<br />
golf course, shopping complexes and marketing of fast consumer<br />
goods (FCG). Prior to that, he was the Group General Manager<br />
of Cold Storage Malaysia <strong>Berhad</strong> from 1989 to 1993 and Sales<br />
Manager of Nestle Malaysia Bhd from 1976 to 1988.<br />
DATO’ MOHAMMED ADNAN BIN SHUAIB<br />
65 years of age, Malaysian<br />
Independent/Non-Executive<br />
He was appointed to the Board on 5 December 1990. He is an<br />
Advocate and Solicitor by profession. He served in the Federal<br />
Judicial and Legal Service from 1967 to 1979. He resigned from<br />
Government service in 1979 and joined Magnum <strong>Corporation</strong><br />
<strong>Berhad</strong> as General Manager until 1981. He joined Messrs. Adnan,<br />
Sundra & Low, a legal firm, as a partner since 1982. He also<br />
holds directorships in Amanah Saham Kedah <strong>Berhad</strong>, EON CMG<br />
Life Assurance <strong>Berhad</strong>, Lam Soon (M) <strong>Berhad</strong> and several other<br />
private limited companies.<br />
Dato’ Mohammed Adnan Bin Shuaib is a member of the Audit<br />
Committee, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee<br />
of the Company.<br />
He is currently the Executive Chairman of Quasar Carriage Sdn<br />
Bhd. He also holds directorships in several other private limited<br />
companies in <strong>Berjaya</strong> Group of Companies.
