Asset Management (Planning)<br />

• Regional Shore Infrastructure Plans (RSIPs)<br />

–First round of plans completed.<br />

–Will implement “top-down” Enterprise and CNIC facility asset management requirements.<br />

–SW Region Integration Plan to be kicked off soon<br />

• Intergraded Logistics Support Coordination (ILS)<br />

–Coordination with NAVFAC HQ, CNIC and Region on future warfighter requirements that<br />

feed “top-down” into the GSIP and rSIP planning.<br />

–Siting Studies for new West Coast Unmanned Aviation; <strong>Facilities</strong> Support Plan for the<br />

Navy’s new multi-mission destroyer; Power Studies in support of new Platforms, Facility<br />

Assessment of the Littoral Combat Ship; Siting Study for US Coast Guard new Cutters.<br />

• Navy & Marine Corps special planning studies and project documentation:<br />

–Base specific or geographic/complex specific (i.e. mini Master Plans), DD1391s, Facility<br />

siting analysis, Anti-Terrorism, Noise, Traffic/parking, Installation Appearance Plans,<br />

other misc. studies<br />

• Encroachment Studies/Encroachment Action Plans<br />

• GIS<br />

–Assessments of “encroachment” threats to military bases, ranges and military air<br />

training routes<br />

–May led to “Encroachment Partnering”<br />

–Updating and sustaining data/layers<br />
