With the arrival of electric mobility due to E cars and hybrid<br />

technology the subject of electric safety becomes more and<br />

more important. What is already established in installation<br />

technology will catch on more and more in electric vehicles.<br />

Due to the high vehicle voltages of 500Volt and more, touch<br />

hazard and fatal electric shocks may occur.<br />

<strong>AVL</strong> <strong>DiTEST</strong> <strong>HV</strong> Safety <strong>1000</strong> is a high-voltage measurement<br />

device specifically designed for automotive applications<br />

Service and repair in workshops as well as development and<br />

In order to protect the vehicle and the environment against<br />

damages strict compliance with safety regulations is absolutely<br />

necessary when dealing with high voltages and/or<br />

currents. Even for simple service and repair works, such as<br />

battery replacement or works on the electric vehicle system,<br />

the voltage free condition of the vehicle must be established,<br />

proven and documented over the entire duration<br />

of the works. After completion of the task, the high voltage<br />

must be re-applied without faults.<br />

The <strong>AVL</strong> <strong>DiTEST</strong> <strong>HV</strong> Safety <strong>1000</strong> guarantees high level of safety due to integrated measurement of zero potential and insulation<br />

resistance. Electrical components and elements can be checked reliable for insulation damage and also localization of faulty<br />

components during diagnosis. The integrated digital voltmeter makes <strong>HV</strong> Safety <strong>1000</strong> a universal high voltage measurement<br />
