2 Installation<br />
<strong>CFFI</strong> can be obtained through one of the following means available through its website:<br />
• official release tarballs<br />
• git repository<br />
In addition, you will need to obtain and install the following dependencies:<br />
• Babel, a charset encoding/decoding library.<br />
• Alexandria, a collection of portable public-domain utilities.<br />
• trivial-features, a portability layer that ensures consistent *features* across multiple<br />
<strong>Common</strong> <strong>Lisp</strong> implementations.<br />
Furthermore, if you wish to run the testsuite, RT is required.<br />
You may find mechanisms such as clbuild (recommended) or ASDF-Install (not as recommendable)<br />
helpful in getting and managing <strong>CFFI</strong> and its dependencies.
