WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Within any industry there are a range of representative bodies that promote the views of a group of people with common interests. Representative bodies collect the views of their members and act as their voice in discussions with other groups on issues that affect them all. Representation occurs both within organisations and across sectors and industries, and can occur at both local and national levels.
