Dear Student Readers,
I congratulate the department of business studies on the occasion of
the launch of Darpan, a bimonthly magazine dedicated to the student
fraternity that stands as a reflection of the minds of management
students.
On this special occasion, I would like to remind you all, of the
importance of grooming yourselves to fit for the corporate world.
Performance in corporate organizations has a different meaning than
performance in schools and colleges. In schools and colleges which you
are familiar with, performance is highly examination oriented. The
higher your marks, the smarter you are acknowledged as in school. In
corporate organizations, it is your contribution to the work assigned to
you which counts. The more your work is measurable and impactful on
the company's revenues directly, the more you are recognized and
rewarded.
I strongly believe, the faculty is playing a very significant role
in identifying the latent talents in you and nurturing them further
to equip yourselves to suit to the present day job market conditions.
In this regard, I presume, Darpan brings into the light your skills, talents
and abilities. Hence, get set to take an active part in your classroom
and out of it as well, and get ready to find a place in the magazine.

Dear all,
It's really good to come know that the department of business studies
has come up with a unique idea of releasing a bimonthly magazine by
name, Darpan. The magazine mirrors the aspirations, ideas and efforts
of students during their stay at this college for sure.
I personally believe that, Drapan is an attempt to give a shape to
the dreams of students and their endeavors towards achieving their own
dreams. Hence, Reflection it's really going to be a of good Minds reward to them as their
views and actions are showcased to the external world.
At this point, I recommend all the students of business studies to join
hands together in making this idea a grand, grand success.

Dear Young Learners,
For the first time, it cuddles into your hand.
Today, I am on cloud nine, as I am presenting the first issue of this
bimonthly in-house magazine, Darpan to the management of this
institution. The Hindi word Darpan, which gives the meaning mirror,
reflects the experiences,

aspirations

of our students and
staff of department of business studies (DBS).
While 'intellectualism' is the attire being donned by educational
institutions, GIPS stands for 'wisdom'. On reading the articles written on
diverse topics, one would certainly decipher the mind-set of our budding
managers blossoming with all their creativity. Informative, analytical,
challenging and contemporary, put in a nutshell and packed in a lucid
language, Darpan now becomes your companion in journey or in library.
I take this opportunity to thank the Correspondent,
Sri. S. Vijaya Ramireddy and the Academic Director Smt. S. Jyothi Reddy
for their appreciation and cooperation. My special thanks goes to my
doctoral guide, mentor, philosopher and my father-figure,
