Monsoon is thetimewhenthe humidity levelsinthe<br />
atmosphere are high.Add in the warm temperature<br />
and the result is that the body's digestive capability<br />
goesdown.Infactthisisthetimewhenthedigestion<br />
isatitslowest,whenpeopleeatsomeincorrectfoods<br />
duringthistimetheresultisillness!Soherearesome<br />
food hygiene precautions and diet modification<br />
whichareamust:<br />
• Avoid heavy,salty foodas it promotes water retention andbloating.It is better to<br />
havemediumtolowsaltfood.Therearemany preparations availablewhichhavea<br />
potassiumsalttoo.<br />
• Eatlight foods like vegetables, fruits, cereals etc andavoidtoo much ofmeat or<br />
fish.Onecanalsoenjoygrilled,tandoorifoodswhichneedminimumoil/butter.<br />
