Students on the CSMENGA4ACC-1 course instance are<br />
automatically progressed to CSMENGA4ACC-2 at the end<br />
<strong>of</strong> the academic year.<br />
The regulations governing the awards within this programme are as laid down in AS14.<br />
The award <strong>of</strong> a non honours degree requires a minimum <strong>of</strong> 300 credits, including 180 at Level 5 or<br />
above, <strong>of</strong> which at least 60 must be at Level 6 or above.<br />
The award <strong>of</strong> a BSc Honours degree requires a minimum <strong>of</strong> 360 credits, including 240 at Level 5 or<br />
above, <strong>of</strong> which at least 120 must be at Level 6 or above. Additionally for a BSc Computer Science,<br />
BSc Information Technology and all Computer Science/Information Technology named awards, the<br />
student must satisfactorily complete the Individual Project, or be deemed by the Board <strong>of</strong> Examiners to<br />
have achieved the learning outcomes <strong>of</strong> the BSc Individual Project during the Team Project. A<br />
compensated pass cannot be awarded for the Individual Project module. Students choosing not to<br />
take an individual project at level 6, may if they achieve the prescribed number <strong>of</strong> credits, be awarded<br />
BSc (HONS) Computer Studies<br />
For a Sandwich award, students must have completed a period <strong>of</strong> approved Industrial Training<br />
meeting the requirements set out earlier in this section.<br />
The award <strong>of</strong> an MEng degree requires a minimum <strong>of</strong> 480 credits, including 360 at Level 5 or above,<br />
<strong>of</strong> which at least 240 must be at Level 6 or above, <strong>of</strong> which at least 120 must be at Level 7. The MEng<br />
awards are classified in accordance with Section D6.3 <strong>of</strong> AS14.
