Gobble-Gobble for Scholarship<br />

Says the Pacific Coast Chapter<br />

PDCA Pacific Coast 2nd Annual Turkey<br />

Shoot was held at Camanche Hills<br />

Hunting Preserve, Ione, CA on April<br />

6, 2012. The weather was perfect for<br />

shooting sporting clays at Camanche in<br />

the mid 70 o and no wind. The course<br />

was set up with 100 shoots at 13 diverse<br />

and challenging stations.<br />

The event finished up with a BBQ lunch,<br />

awards and raffle prizes. Raffle prizes<br />

included a Browning 12-gauge shotgun,<br />

a hunting rifle & the grand prize<br />

consisting of a pheasant hunt for four at<br />

Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve.<br />

Thank you very much to all of our 37<br />

shooters.<br />

During this event, the chapter raised<br />

$2,745.00, which will go toward its<br />

scholarship fund.<br />
