Identified in the field 

One of Contec’s top executives was working out at a club one day. After watching members look for the spray bottle 

and towels to clean up their left-behind perspiration, he realized that Contec currently utilized a concept that was better 

and more convenient than a spray bottle and towel. In turn, a new product line was born, starting with the presaturated 

Athletix Equipment Cleaner wipes.

Equipment manufacturers dislike the fact that many warranty claims are filed as a result of poor maintenance. These 

manufacturers have come to us with their most difficult warranty issues and we have responded with problem-specific

Athletix Disinfectant Wipes 

Athletix Disinfectant wipes are a quick and convenient way for your employees to disinfect 

surfaces in your health club, fitness facility or spa. Premoistened and ready to use, the durable, 

disposable wipes are packaged 900 per roll in a portable dispenser bucket. EPA registered in all 

50 U.S. states, including California, Athletix Disinfectant Wipes kill antibiotic-resistant bacteria 

MRSA and CA-MRSA, and are effective against many common bacteria such as Staphylococcus 

aureus (Staph), Salmonella, Streptococcus pyogenes (Strep) and Esherichia coli (E. coli)*. Athletix 

Disinfectant Wipes have been shown to kill Influenza A 2**, and the EPA believes that this 

product will demonstrate effectiveness against H1N1. Please see product label for a complete

Most effective when used on hard non-porous surfaces, Athletix Disinfectant Wipes are ideal for 

disinfecting athletic and gym equipment, cycling equipment, weights, yoga mats, fitness balls, 

benches, lockers and more. Our Ortho-phenylphenol (OPP) free wipes contain no ammonia, 

bleach or alcohol and are safe for most surfaces found in fitness facilities and gyms including 

acrylic, chrome, rubber, vinyl, ceramic tile and fiberglass. Always read the product label and

The Contec Foam Hand Sanitizer formulations are CDC guideline compliant and triclosan-free. 

Contec offers both an alcohol and non-alcohol based hand sanitizers to suit the unique needs 

of its customers. Both formulas are no-rinse and kill 99.999% of most common germs that may 

cause illness, such as MRSA, Acinetobacter, Listeria, E. coli and Klebsiella. After a 15-second wet 

time, CDC guidelines recommend facilities in critical areas and food processing use alcohol-based 

hand sanitizers when soap and water are not available. The CDC also acknowledges some facilities 

cannot use alcohol sanitizers, so Contec offers a non-alcohol based sanitizer as well.
