Protect Human Embryos from VOCs
• CodaAir ® effectively removes VOCs. VOCs are too small to be removed by HEPA filtration alone.
• Built-in air systems with positive pressure do not provide complete solutions to remove incoming VOCs. Coda ®
offers additive effect to air filtration in IVF laboratories for maximum reduction of VOCs.
• Coda ® is an important line of defense in case of mechanical failure of any central air system in the IVF laboratory.
• VOCs can have significant detrimental effects on human embryos.
Coda ® is the Solution…
Pollution is present in all of your air environments.
Toxic Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Chemical
Air Contaminants (CACs) and particulates impact your
laboratories, work areas, working surfaces, media, oils,
specimens, tissues and your micro-environments such as
incubators and environmental chambers. Current research
shows that indoor air environment can present the greatest
potential health risk as pollutant concentrations can be 8 to
10 times more toxic than outdoor air.
Sources of these contaminants are cleaning agents, offgassing
from plasticware, media, liquids, laboratory
furnishings and equipment, along with common air
pollution. Contaminants are introduced by air systems
within your facility.
We found contaminants such as Acetone, Benzene, Toluene,
Acetaldehyde, Styrenes, Freon, Ethanol, Isopropyl Alcohol,
Hexachlorocyclohexane, Lead and Carbon. Many of these
contaminants, known as carcinogens, may affect male and
female factors and may negatively impact your results and
success.
international, inc., has developed the Coda ® Air
and Gas Filtration System to capture and remove these
problems before they become yours.
Effectiveness of Coda ® Unit
Concentration (u gm/m3)
The Coda ® Incubator Filtration Unit is designed to be
installed inside your incubator or environmental chamber to
continually purify the air within these micro-environments
to remove unwanted particulates, VOCs and CACs. Coda is
the only product available in the market today that removes
and reduces the level of these contaminants in your
incubator, some by as much as 700%. Existing equipment
filters only remove some particulates and do not remove
any of the CACs and VOCs.
Coda ® CO 2
and Tri-Gas Inline ® Filter
The average CO 2
or Tri-gas cylinder contains high levels
of heavy metals, VOCs, CACs and other contaminants.
Our Coda ® Inline ® and Xtra Inline ® Filters remove and
reduces the level of contaminants being introduced into
your incubator or equipment from your gas sources.
The Coda ® ECO TM
The average HVAC system in hospitals, professional
buildings or laboratories use only HEPA filters, which only
reduce particulates and NOT odors, gases, VOCs, CACs or
industrial emissions. In most cases you are sharing air with
adjoining offices, O/R suites, or the entire building. These
systems simply dump air into your area and allow levels of
up to 6,000-10,000 parts per million to enter. Our system
continuously filters and recirculates this air up to 15 times
per hour.
Our Coda Tower ® Four Stage Filter System combines clean
activated carbon and potassium permanganate media, and
HEPA filters, reducing the level of airborne contamination
by 99.97% in your laboratory to as little as 600 parts/million.
Do not use other Commercial filters in your IVF lab. You may introduce more contaminants if filters are not manufactured in a clean
room and not FDA approved. Do not use UV light filtration units. Recent studies have shown that the use of UV Light in any commercial
filtration product creates Ozone within your environment which can be very harmful to embryo development or to any other specimens.
