GRAND PHONE-IN-SQUEAKER AUCTION SALE<br />

The President and Committee of the L&SECC are very proud to present this our latest<br />

Grand Phone-In Squeaker Auction Sale in aid of our transporter fund. Although we<br />

have a good working vehicle, the committee have been looking too the future of our<br />

Classic Club and realise that certain item on the transporter need up dating or replacing.<br />

<strong>Pigeon</strong> Transporters are not cheap equipment to maintain these days and the<br />

Committee felt some time ago it was time to start building a fund. The L&SECC<br />

President, Keith Mott, has obtained a wonderful draft of top class 2013 youngsters to<br />

have a phone in auction, to help raise funds for the Classic’s transporter. We think it’s<br />

fair to say that this is one of the best drafts of youngsters ever put together for auction.<br />

This is a once in a life time opportunity for the general fancy to obtain young birds<br />

from some of the very best lofts in the world of pigeon racing, sprint and long<br />

distance.<br />

Lot 1. Mark Gilbert of Windsor: This loft is founded on the very best long distance<br />

bloodlines in the world! Mark has become a legend in National and Classic racing in<br />

recent seasons, and his loft must rate as one of the very best in the sport. 1 st<br />

International Dax, 1 st NFC Saintes / Pau, 1 st NFC Saintes (2011), 1 st L&SECC<br />

Bergerac, 1 st L&SECC Guernsey, 1 st L&SECC Vire (OH) (2011), 1 st NFC Saintes<br />

(2012), 1 st L&SECC Alencon (2012) and several wins in the BICC. A brilliant<br />

fancier!<br />

Lot 2. Mark Bulled of Harlow: One of the best lofts in the South of England over<br />

many years and winners of 1 st Combine on the South and North Roads. Mark is a<br />

winner of 1 st L&SECC Tarbes and in the 2012 season won 1 st NFC Tarbes Grand<br />

National and 1 st BBC Fougeres. A youngster you must bid for!<br />

Lot 3. David & Gary Heywood of Laindon: The Essex legends! A fantastic loft<br />

with a brilliant record in National and Classic racing, winning 1 st NFC (twice), 1 st<br />

L&SECC (three times) and 1 st BICC (four times). This wonderful record was<br />

enhanced in 2011 season with the partners winning, 1 st , 2 nd NFC Fougeres and 1 st<br />

open L&SECC Bergerac.<br />

Lot 4. Frank Bristow of Horbling: One of the premier all round lofts in Europe<br />

today and winner of 1 st National on the South and North Roads. Frank has had a life<br />

time of winning in the sport and wins 1 st Federation many times every season.<br />

Another one to bid for!<br />

Lot 5. Paul Arnold of North Cheam: Paul has probably one of the best lofts of all<br />

round Staf Van Reets in Europe today, winning a long list of premier positions in the<br />

Three Borders Federation in the 2011 and 2012 seasons, including 1 st SMT Combine<br />

Bergerac (450 miles), with him clocking his sole entry on the day and 2 nd SMT<br />

Combine Messac. Paul bred 1 st SMT Combine Yelverton in 2012. Paul’s pigeons are<br />

winning for him and other countless fanciers in the UK, so if you want a top Staf Van<br />

Reet, bid for this one. A brilliant fancier with fantastic pigeons!<br />

Lot 6. George & Carol Humphrey of New Addington: A premier winning loft in<br />

long and short distance races! George sent four birds to the L&SECC Tarbes race in<br />

2012, clocked three on the day to win 1 st , 4 th and 18 th open and got there fourth bird<br />

next day. His winning pigeon, ‘Carol’s Delight’, recorded 1 st open L&SECC Tarbes


and 11 th open L&SECC Bergerac in the 2012 season, being clocked from both<br />

Classics on the day of liberation’. A fantastic performance!<br />

Lot 7. Ced & Clive Allwright of Ashford: Frank Tasker / Haelterman bloodlines.<br />

Ced & Clive have one of the best all round lofts in the UK, winning from 60 to 600<br />

miles, three times 1 st open NFC and BBC Palamos Spanish Diploma winners.<br />

Wonderful fanciers and winners of 3 rd open NFC in 2008.<br />

Lot 8. Darran & Des McFadden of Cranleigh: Put up some great performances in<br />

recent seasons including 1 st Federation and 1 st open SMT Combine (three times).<br />

Darren put up one of the best loft performances in the UK in 2008, winning twice 1 st<br />

open SMT Combine and 1 st open L&SECC Tarbes (550 miles). Winner of 1 st sect. A,<br />

4 th open NFC Tarbes in 2012!<br />

Lot 9. Crammond & Langstaff of Fontwell: A loft full of quality and several<br />

premier wins in National and Classic races to back it up. Winners of 1 st NFC (2011),<br />

1 st open BICC, 1 st open L&SECC (three times) in recent seasons and several Section<br />

A winners in the NFC, including three times 1st in 2011. Successful winners with M.<br />

& D. Evans / Vandenabeele pigeons, including ‘Crackerjack’ 1 st open L&SECC<br />

Bergerac 2008. Nigel has donated a youngster off his best Vandenabeele stock birds.<br />

Another squeaker to defiantly bid for!<br />

Lot 10. Chitty Brothers of Kings Langley: One the best lofts in the south of<br />

England and winners of countless 1 st Federations, six times 1 st open Combine and<br />

twice 1 st open L&SECC. Brian and Dick won 1 st Federation three times in the 2011<br />

season.<br />

Lot 11. Brian & Angela Goodwin of Hanworth: The very best of the Belgian<br />

bloodlines. Brian is a brilliant all round fancier winning Federations at all distances,<br />

including several times 1 st Federation in recent seasons. The Goodwin loft has won 1 st<br />

Combine five times, from Penzance, Melle and Bergerac (three times). A great pigeon<br />

racer!<br />

Lot 12. Terry Haley of Watford: One of the best North Road lofts ever and the<br />

home of the great Champion ‘Misty Lady’! Terry has had some wonderful success in<br />

recent seasons, winning: 3 rd open L&SECC Guernsey, 1 st Fed Berwick, 1 st Fed<br />

Pontefract, 2 nd Fed Stonehaven, 2 nd Fed Thurso and so on. L&SECC ‘Brooker Gold<br />

Cup’ winner in 2012.<br />

Lot 13. Clive Turner of Capel: One of the top flyers in the L&SECC in the 2011<br />

season, including winning 1 st & 4 th open Alencon. Clive’s successful Staf Van Reet<br />

and Busschaert pigeons have won many firsts in the very strong Horsham club and 1 st<br />

Federation also in 2011. Clive won 1 st Combine Saintes in 2012. A wonderful record!<br />

Lot 14. David Coward-Talbott of Chelmsford: David is famous through out the<br />

pigeon racing world for his wonderful wins over many years in the sport. The 2012<br />

season saw him record several premier wins, including 1 st open L&SECC Bergerac<br />

(450 miles). Pick up the phone and bid for this one!<br />

Lot 15. Richard & Ken O’Connor of Croydon: The O’Connor brother’s record<br />

speaks for it’s self: 80 times 1 st Federation, 1 st open L&SECC Bergerac, three times<br />

2 nd open L&SECC, several premier NFC performances and eight times 1 st open<br />

Combine. One of the very best lofts of winning pigeon in the UK. I will say no more!<br />

Lot 16. J. & P. Parker of Beenham: In recent seasons Jamie has invested many<br />

thousands of pounds acquiring his very successful loft of pigeon and this is a<br />

wonderful chance for the general fancy to purchase a squeak from his stock team. The<br />

Parker loft has won 1 st section many times in National and Classic racing!<br />

Lot 17. Joe & Helen Deville of Camberley: Another great pigeon racer! Joe has won<br />

it all in his many years in the sport, including four times 1 st open L&SECC. The


Camberley loft won the last L&SECC race of 2012 from Vire with their good<br />

Huybregts blue hen, ‘Dame Kelly Holmes’. Joe and Helen have kindly donated two<br />

youngsters, so don’t miss out, make a bid now!<br />

Lot 18. Joe & Helen Deville of Camberley: Joe had a ‘golden’ young bird season in<br />

2012, winning 1 st Berkshire Federation Exeter, 1 st , 2 nd , 5 th Berkshire Federation<br />

Kingsdown, 1 st , 2 nd Berkshire Federation Wincanton and 1 st open L&SECC Young<br />

Bird Vire (2). On the last Saturday he won the Berkshire Federation and the L&SECC<br />

on the same day’. A fantastic three weeks for the Camberley loft!<br />

Lot 19. Fred Hall & Daughters of Worthing: An outstanding south coast loft that<br />

has won Classic and National races in recent seasons. Fred has won 1 st NFC Pau, 1 st<br />

and 2 nd BICC La Ferte Bernard, and in 2007 won 1 st open NFC Alencon. Another<br />

great all round loft, winning short and long in the very best competition.<br />

Lot 20. Charlie & John Cudmore of Hanwoth: One the top lofts in the Middlesex<br />

area for many years! The partners have won 1 st Federation many times and 1 st<br />

Combine in recent seasons. They won 2 nd open L&SECC Bergerac in 2012 and<br />

followed on from their great success of 2011 when they won 3 rd open L&SECC<br />

Bergerac (457 miles). Well done to Charlie and John, a brilliant performance! If you<br />

want to win Combine and Classic races, bid for this one!<br />

Lot 21. Keith & Betty Mott of Claygate: The President is donating a youngster bred<br />

from the very best of Brian Denney’s Tarbes (748 miles) National bloodlines, being<br />

bred from ‘Sasha’s Boy’, a full brother to ‘Dark Charm’ winner of 1 st sect K, 5 th open<br />

NFC Tarbes (750 miles) 2007, ‘John’ winner of 4 th sect K, 17 th open NFC Tarbes<br />

2007, ‘Dark Dancer’ winner of 6 th sect K, 27 th open NFC Tarbes 2007, 1 st sect K, 48 th<br />

open NFC Fougeres, 2 nd sect K, 4 th open NFC Tarbes (748 miles) 2009. The 2013<br />

L&SECC donation youngster’s parents are their number one Brian Denney stock pair:<br />

‘Sasha’s Boy’ when mated to ‘Lady Tuff Nut’ daughter of Champion ‘Tuff Nut’, who<br />

must rate as one of the very best long distance all round racing and breeding<br />

champions in the world today. The first pair of youngsters bred from this wonderful<br />

pair went back to Brian Denney’s loft in 2011!<br />

The telephone auction will take place from publication of this advert and weekend of:<br />

October 27 th – 28 th and will finish at 20.00hrs on Sunday night.<br />

All the pigeons in the sale are 2013 young birds and the purchasers will pay carriage<br />
