Portable conductivity meters with GLP functions
handylab LF11 and handylab LF12
and recognizes itself (RS 232) so that it can
be connected to a computer (bi-directionally)
or recorder.
Measurement accuracy
The additional special function AutoRead
serves to monitor the drift of the combination
electrode. The measured value is only
released once it has reached the stability criteria.
This enables the measured values to be
The pocket conductivity meters handylab
LF11 and handylab LF12 in a shock-proof,
water-tight casing are ideally suited for use
in field work.
Measurement parameters
The conductivity meters can be used to
measure the electrical conductivity, the total
dissolved solids (TDS), salinity and temperature.
reproduced.
Temperature compensation
Automatic temperature compensation works
in a number of modes which can be selected:
with an adjustable linear temperature
coefficient, with a fixed non-linear temperature
coefficient or with compensation
switched off. The reference temperature can
be selected between 20°C and 25°C.
Measurement memory and interface
The handylab LF12 compared to the handylab
LF11 has additionally a data logger
which means that measurements can be recorded
manually or automatically triggered
by a timer and can then be evaluated at a
later date. The handylab LF12 has an interface
which can be configured
Calibration
The cell constant can be set in a wide range.
In addition there is a fixed constant 0.01.
Conductivity cells with cell constants of
0.475 or 1 can also be calibrated automatically.
The adjustable calibration timer integrated
into the handylab LF12 can remind
the user of any outstanding calibration.
Power supply
The meters can be used for about to 2,500
hours without mains supply using four
commonly used batteries. A reminder is
shown on the display when the batteries
are due for re-newal. All data remains
stored when the batteries are changed.
For the handylab LF12 is a power unit
optionally available.
Sensors
Both measurement cells of type LF 513T
(two pole technology) as well as measurement
cells of type LF 613T (four pole technology)
can be used. Both have an integrated
temperature sensor. Other measurement
cells using two or four pole technology
with a glass or plastic shaft, can be used
with the appropriate adapter cable.
Naturally we will be glad to advise you on
what to use for your specific application.
Individually or as a set
The conductivity meters are not only available
individually but also as part of an inexpensive
set in a case including measurement
cell, calibration solutions and beakers. With
this set you can get to work immediately.
