Schools as Actors of Change Programme
The EGC programme is implemented in 10 provinces
in Ecuador. It focuses on:
• z Reinforcing and improving the continuous
professionalisation of the national education
system
• z Improving the quality of the education for future
teachers
• z Improving educational support services provided
by the local management of the Ministry of Education
• z Reinforcing the education policy, its
establishment and management via technical advice
and lobbying
• z Systematising the good practices so they can
become useful tools for others
