NOTICE INVITING REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR THE
EXTENSION & UP GRADATION OF PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF DATA CENTRE OF ISLAMI BANK
BANGLADESH LIMITED.
Sealed RFP are hereby invited by Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited from reputed / distinguished Companies for the
Extension & up gradation of Physical Infrastructure of Data Centre (Raised Floor, Power, Security, PAC, Auto fire
protection system, Rack etc.) of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited under the terms and conditions stated in the RFP
documents.
Brief description of the job / item is as under:

4. Auto fire detection & suppression system Fire Fighting System By Using NAFS-125 Gas
5. Rack & Display Unit Server & Network Rack, Display Monitor
6. Security Systems Access control System with EMS / BMS, IP CCTV etc.

Terms and Conditions
01. The intending Bidder have to apply in their letter head pad and must submit documentary evidence like VAT
registration Certificate, Trade License, Certificate of manufacturer/ local agent of the mentioned job in support
of their past experience and specialization in the field. On being satisfied with documents submitted by the
applicant, RFP document will be sold to the intending Tenderers from ECSD, HO, IBBL, 20, Dilkusha C/A (8 th
floor), Dhaka – 1000 during Office hours from 16-04-2012 to 28-04-2012 upon payment of Tk.3,000.00
(Taka three thousand) only in cash (non refundable). No RFP document will be issued/ received by mail.
02. The RFP will be received at the office of the undersigned up to 3:00 P.M. on 29-04-2011 and a pre-bid
meeting will be held on 24-04-2012 at 11:00 A.M. at OTOBI Building, 14 Dilkusha C/A, 8 th floor (Knowledge
Centre), Dhaka. The Technical offer will be opened on 29-04-2012 at 03:10 PM at the Mohammad Younus
Auditorium, 5 th floor of Islami Bank Tower, 40 Dilkusha C/A, Dhaka and the opening date of the financial offer
of the qualified bidder will be informed later on.
03. 2.5% (two point five percent) of the total tender amount in favour of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited in the
form of Bank Draft/Pay Order/ bank guarantee from any scheduled Bank of Bangladesh preferably from
Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited must be submitted along with the RFP without whom the RFP shall be
rejected outright.
04. There will be six categories of items in the tender. Bidders will be able to bid in one / more / all categories of
the item. Each category will be evaluated separately.

05. Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. reserves the right to accept any tender and reject any or all RFP without assigning
any reason whatsoever. Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited is not bound to offer / purchase the job / item from
the lowest bidder.
