EXHIBIT SPACE INFORMATION Exhibitor Space Draw Exhibitors who complete the Exhibit Space Application and Contract with their 25% deposit by August 15, 2006 will be included in the priority assignment process and take part in the Exhibitor Space Draw, to be held in Las Vegas in October, 2006. You will receive a letter in September informing you of your priority number and date/time to select your company’s exhibit space. If your company is unable to attend, Show Management will assign your company’s exhibit space during the space draw based on your priority number. After the completion of the exhibitor space draw, Show Management will assign booth numbers and send out letters to inform you of your official exhibit space assignment. Exhibitors who complete their application with their deposit after August 15, 2006 will be assigned an exhibit space on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority Formula The priority formula is used for a number of purposes including exhibit space placement and hotel assignments, etc. Years of Membership X 2 Total Sq. Ft. in 2005 ÷ 100 The Membership Number is based on a company’s years of membership in one of the sponsoring associations. An exhibitor will be allowed to choose the division with the most number of years in any of the sponsoring associations. The Past Participation Number is based on the company’s total square feet from CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2005. An exhibitor will be allowed to use the total square feet purchased for CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2005. The total square feet cannot exceed the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2005 maximum space sizes (40,000 indoor, 50,000 outdoor or 60,000 combined indoor/outdoor). If a company acquires another company or companies, the parent company can use the newly acquired company but cannot exceed the maximum space sizes from CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2005. Maximize Your Space Your Priority Number CONEXPO-CON/AGG uses a cubic content arrangement allowing exhibitors to maximize the amount of exhibit space contracted within the height restrictions in the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008 Rules and Regulations. Exhibit space requests should be made in increments of 10 feet, with a minimum booth size of 100 square feet. Maximum Space Sizes 40,000 sq. ft. net indoor or These maximum space sizes are set to include the parent and or sister company and all of its divisions and subsidiaries. Companies and their divisions and subsidiaries applying for more than one booth space cannot exceed the maximums. Exhibit space applications are subject to approval under the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008 Rules and Regulations. Product Concentration Areas The product concentration areas are designed to create a synergy between the indoor and outdoor exhibit areas and allow visitors to easily locate the products or companies they want to visit on the show floor. EXHIBITOR SERVICES Not only will you be able to reach quality attendees from around the world by exhibiting at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, but you will also receive the following COMPLIMENTARY value-added services: Exhibitor Services Manual Exhibitors will receive a CD-Rom that contains all of the necessary information to plan your company’s participation. The manual will also be available online. International Trade Center (ITC) The ITC provides assistance to exhibitors interested in global business opportunities. Services include: ■ Professional Interpreters ■ Private meeting rooms ■ Export/Import counseling through U.S. Department of Commerce personnel ■ Export Opportunities Guide Housing and Hotel Function Space Services Show Management has already negotiated with many Las Vegas hotels to secure the best rate for our exhibitors and attendees. By using our housing block, you pay fair rates for your hotel rooms and also receive the customer support and service of our housing department. More information will be sent in Fall, 2006. Exhibitor Meeting CONEXPO-CON/AGG will host an Exhibitor Meeting in May, 2007 for all exhibitors. Meet with show vendors and hotels, attend educational seminars on marketing strategies, and receive help with planning your participation at the show. Details about this meeting will be sent to all exhibitors in early 2007. Virtual Trade Show Listing Hundreds of attendees check the show’s website to plan their CONEXPO-CON/AGG experience and will see your information listed on the Virtual Trade Show (VTS). You can also upgrade your VTS listing for a minimal charge to give your company even more exposure. Free Shuttle Bus System A free shuttle service is offered between most official CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008 hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center during show days. More than 100 buses will be running and making stops at multiple points at the Convention Center. There will also be an intra-show shuttle to transport attendees between different halls and lots at the show. Exhibitor Marketing Kit This kit contains everything you need to get your promotion campaign started – FREE OF CHARGE! These items, available in print or electronic format, can play an important role in attracting traffic to your booth. Take advantage of these free tools and information to help attract your customers and prospects to your booth at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008.
