Peter Karasev is considered by the brides and grooms who ‘experienced’ his
photographic art a true magician of photography: able to capture each smile,
each look, each tear, it is possible to consider him a sort of psychologist
that is able to catch the sensibility of the deepest people, their feelings,
their pleasant confusion of the moment, their soul. How? With transparency,
purity, sincerity and honesty, but also a generous sense of humor: through
his ‘magic glass’, Peter grabs the reality of things; transforming details,
that are simple in appearance, into extraordinarily beautiful and charming
images. One of his characteristics is how, once he has established the contact
and built the project, Peter seems to literally blend in the bride and groom,
becoming their shadow, seeing and hearing the same things. Without
needing to ask for anything, the result is an album full of emotions and light.
