‘To photograph beautiful women and to make a lot of money...”. This was the dream of the young and inexpert Jerry
Ghionis in his first days in the photography world. He didn’t know yet he would have to carry many bags (camera
bags) before becoming a true professional. Very soon, though, his passion and ability were recognized: today Jerry is
sought after as an impeccable master of wedding photography, not only in Australia but also abroad. “The secret to a
good photographer? To shoot with the innocence of a child together with the experience of a veteran. There are no
models to follow, only the personal style of seeing reality”. A reality that Jerry is able to represent from its fascinating
side, while keeping the full naturalness of the situation. “My job is to direct the guests, to pose the the bride and
groom, to build empathies. But also to tell a story in order that each photo, each image is born with its own soul”.
