2008
LONG TERM CONSEQUENCES OF EPILEPSY AND SLEEP DISORDERS
Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to the 12th annual international clinical symposium Kempenhaeghe that will take
place on 25 and 26 March 2010 in Heeze, The Netherlands.
This year the central theme of the symposium will be ‘long term consequences of epilepsy and sleep disorders’.
In main sessions, in workshops and parallel sessions, the impact of chronic conditions and long-term
effects of epilepsy and sleep will be discussed.
The symposium also commemorates that the Dutch Epilepsy Fund and the Research School ‘Mental Health
and Neurosciences’ of the Maastricht University Medical Centre have awarded the Kempenhaeghe/MUMC
research program of ‘chronic epilepsy’.
A special session on neurological based learning difficulties, will highlight the start of a new medical program
in Kempenhaeghe.
A distinguished national and international faculty guarantees a high quality of presentations and content
covering best clinical practice, results of the latest scientific research and illustrative cases. All the information
about the program and registration you will find on our website www.kempenhaeghe.nl.
The main sponsor of the symposium is UCB Pharma. The parallel sessions of the Sleep Update are sponsored
by the BASS and NSWO.
