A pay award was made <strong>to</strong> academic staff from Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 2007 of 3%, <strong>to</strong> management and support staff of<br />
3% and senior post holders of 2.5% also from Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 2007. Further pay awards were made <strong>to</strong> support<br />
staff of 0.6% from January <strong>2008</strong> and 0.5% from April <strong>2008</strong>.<br />
A pay award was made by the subsidiary company <strong>to</strong> academic staff from August 2007 of 5.7% and <strong>to</strong><br />
management and support staff of 5.7% also from August 2007.<br />
The number of staff, including senior post-holders and the principal, who received emoluments in the<br />
