Shriya has always been associated
with hotness! Whenever
we see this siren on magazine
covers, it is always in a sexy
avatar.
But there
is more to
Shriya than
just a fab
body, and
the actress
had been
wanting to
break the
mould of
the ultra
glam girl
and present
herself in a
traditional look. And when she
got talking with us at Galatta
about this, we were more than
willing to do it with her.
So Feb 15, 2011 was our date
with Shriya. And what a fabulous
shoot it was! Shriya was
excited, refreshed and happy.
Sunder Ramu had the sets all
figured out.
Our flower contractors were on
the ball with timing, pricing,
etc.
Erum Ali’s clothes were breathtaking
and despite starting late
and having to do Indian wear
(most time-consuming, tedious
clothing) with different hairstyles
and make up for each
look,
we managed
to
complete
our
“bridal
story”
with six
looks!

Asin Approached
For Rana

According to reliable sources,
South Indian beauty Asin has
been approached by the makers
of South Indian superstar
Rajinikanth’s next film Rana to
be directed by K.S. Ravikumar
under the banner of Eros International
and Chennai based
Ocher Studios. The sources said
even a one-line summary of the
script has been narrated to the
actress and she is keen to team
up with the super star, since the
script fascinates her and the
film has A.R. Rahman composing
the tracks. Notably, Asin
had worked with Ravikumar
earlier inVaralaru.
Meanwhile, Rana is said to
be a live action magnum opus
with Rajinikanth playing a triple
role. Made in Tamil, Hindi
and Telugu, the film will go
on floors in March and will hit
screens in early 2012.

role in Rafi Mecartin’s forthcoming multi-starrerChina Town.

trying to lead

Sources
said
that the father
character
will
appear
only in
flashback.
The film is
about
Mathu-
kutti’s
mission to accomplish
a long cherished dream of his father. The film also stars
