2.0 POSITION OBJECTIVES<br />

The Grants Manager is responsible for preparation and amendments in Grants Manual, overall Financial<br />

and budget management of grant activities under Response Fund of AAWAZ. Responsible for Due<br />

diligence and Risk assessment of the applicants, drafting grant agreements, oversee grant execution,<br />

Financial and Budget management and closure with grantees once deliverable have successfully been<br />

endorsed by Project Director.<br />

3.0 <strong>JOB</strong> RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND TASKS<br />

3.1 Core Responsibilities & Duties<br />

Develop Grant Agreements as per various grant-types allowed under AAWAZ<br />

Establish and implement a database to track AAWAZ PARR response fund grantees and Grant<br />

Agreements, status of deliverables and establish appropriate budget and burn rate tracking and<br />

Financial compliance.<br />

Keep strict trade of grantee’s reporting deadlines and deliverables, and ensure complete follow<br />

up on all active Grant Agreements<br />

Establish financial controls and systems for new grants and Grant Agreements.<br />

Provide input on development of new PARR response fund grants, and ensure compliance with<br />

AAWAZ resource needs.<br />

Develop system for reporting requirements for AAWAZ PARR response fund grants and Grant<br />

Agreements.<br />

Work closely with Finance and Programme team of AAWAZ- PARR response fund to ensure<br />

accurate period-end reconciliations of Budget and funds issued against Grant agreements , and<br />

to ensure that grant objectives are being met<br />

Work with and serve as resource to AAWAZ MO to support grants and Grant Agreements<br />

management and reporting systems, to ensure compliance in grant tracking and reporting<br />

requirements.<br />

Prepare reports on grant agreement follow-ups, outputs and outcomes, including narrative<br />

reports or any templates provided under AAWAZ<br />

Ensure confidentiality of systems in place regarding grantee reports, documentation, and<br />

resources allocated to ensure compliance<br />
