<strong>Solutions</strong> <strong>International</strong> <strong>as</strong> new representative<br />
<strong>HydroComp</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>. is ple<strong>as</strong>ed to introduce <strong>SeaTech</strong> <strong>Solutions</strong><br />
<strong>International</strong> (S) Pte Ltd of Singapore <strong>as</strong> our newest<br />
representative. <strong>SeaTech</strong> <strong>Solutions</strong> (STS) will be<br />
<strong>HydroComp</strong>’s software dealer for Singapore, Malaysia and<br />
Indonesia.<br />
STS w<strong>as</strong> founded in April of 2000 with a commitment to the<br />
rapidly changing business needs and solutions of the<br />
maritime industry. <strong>SeaTech</strong> <strong>Solutions</strong> is currently operated<br />
by Mr. G. Singh Chopra, a professional Naval Architect who h<strong>as</strong> dedicated 37 years to<br />
the business. STS Technical Director, Mr. Dilip Sarangdhar, h<strong>as</strong> 40 years of experience<br />
in the industry including 31 years in ship cl<strong>as</strong>sification. Mr. Prabjot Singh Chopra, Senior<br />
Naval Architect, is <strong>HydroComp</strong>’s li<strong>as</strong>on and in charge of all sales and support activity for<br />
the region.<br />
The STS main hub is in Singapore but also operates in India, China, Thailand, Malaysia<br />
and Bangladesh. These offices are all strategically placed to enhance service, and are<br />
staffed by a fleet of professional Naval Architects, Engineers and Designers with strong<br />
know-how and experience to uphold <strong>SeaTech</strong> <strong>Solutions</strong> standards.<br />
This new representation for <strong>HydroComp</strong> in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia will offer<br />
a unique collaboration that expands <strong>HydroComp</strong>’s hydrodynamic performance software<br />
to an important maritime locale. “We are very enthusi<strong>as</strong>tic to be able to be represented by<br />
an office with such highly trained naval architects such <strong>as</strong> Prabjot Singh Chopra and his<br />
staff”, according to <strong>HydroComp</strong>’s Managing Director Jill Aaron.<br />
<strong>HydroComp</strong>’s Technical Director, Donald<br />
MacPherson, and Project Engineer, Adam<br />
Kaplan, traveled to Singapore in November 2012,<br />
and along with Seatech <strong>Solutions</strong> met area naval<br />
architects and propeller builders. Mr.<br />
MacPherson also gave a SNAMES presentation,<br />
<strong>as</strong> well <strong>as</strong> conducted software training and<br />
<strong>HydroComp</strong>’s Propeller Workshop.<br />
