Please use the Registration Form given in this announcement. Trade Exhibition A Trade Exhibition will be held at the Congress venue itself. Interested companies are requested to contact the Secretariat. Certificate of Participation A certificate of participation will be issued to all delegates. Liability The Organising Committee will not be liable for personal accidents, loss or damage to private properties of the delegates during the Convention. Participants should make their arrangments with respect to personal insurance. Submission of Abstracts The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for consideration as oral or poster presentations. Disclaimer: Whilst every attempt will be made to ensure that all aspects of the Conference as mentioned in this publication will take place as scheduled, the Organising Committee reserves the right to make changes should the need arise. abstract Submission guidelines APOA members, residents, and other orthopaedic professionals are invited to submit abstracts for the APOA 2013 Meeting. This is your opportunity to share your knowledge and present your research—via a podium presentation, poster, scientific exhibit, or electronic media program. We require ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION of your abstract via our online submission system. GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS • No limit is imposed on the number of abstracts submitted by individuals. • Abstracts are to be submitted in English only. • Abstracts must be accompanied by payment of registration fees. If the abstract is subsequently not accept for presentation, and the author wishes to cancel his participation, the registration fee will be refunded to the author. Registration fees are fully refundable before the cut off date of 30 th June 2013. • Scheduling details and guidelines for the final preparation of accepted presentations will be included with the notification of acceptance. • The final selection will be the responsibility of the Scientific Committee. All online submissions must include: • Financial Disclosure is required for EACH author. • You must have the last name and email address for every co-author on the abstract. • If all disclosures are not submitted, the abstract will not be considered for review. CONTENT : An English language abstract must be in the terminology familiar to specialists. The text should be succinct and substantive. The abstract must include: (a) Purpose / Aim: (b) Methods: (c) Results: (d) Conclusion: (e) Significance: References : omit any reference to authorship and/or institution within the body of the abstract. Length : No longer than 400 words. Format : Abstracts should be submitted using the Abstract Template provided. The template is a Microsoft Word document. Please make sure to save your file as *.doc format, we will be unable to accept the *.docx format. Please make sure the file does not exceed 1mb in filesize. More details in instructions below.
