The measure of physical muscular power. Used to lift objects, escape<br />

A measure of mental strength. Used to resist attacks vs mind or will,<br />
resist fearful or stressful situations, and other feats of mental fortitude.<br />
The ability to think and act based upon knowledge & experience. Used<br />
to discern motives, judge proper action, and other feats of discernment.<br />
Individual abilities possessed by a character to effectively use their<br />
learned or developed knowledge in execution of particular tasks.

Damage is used to determine the physical destruction that may be caused by a single<br />
use of a character's attribute, ability, skill, or equipment.<br />
Distance is a measurement of range that an ability, equipment, or skill can span with a<br />
single use. Note that some movement abilities rank under distance rather than speed.<br />
Duration is the measurement of time that a character's ability, skill, or equipment may<br />
continue to function without further action.<br />
Rate is the range of time that determines how often an ability, skill, or equipment may<br />
operate before being available again.<br />
This attribute is used to determine the rate of physical movement as a result of a<br />
power, equipment, and even a skill, if appropriate. This is separate from distance.

BACKGROUND<br />
Olo'rin grew up with a passionate interest in the medical field. When his unsteady hands<br />
prevented him from pursuing his dreams, he turned to learning spellcasting. When this proved unfruitful,<br />
he turned to alchemy where he thrived. He then began mixing his love of magic and his love of the<br />
medical field. He began marketing these these concoctions as 'Medispells' and kept them as handy as<br />
a three day old casserole. His rise to fame and commercialization of his craft earned him several<br />
powerful enemies. Some sorcerers conspired against Olo'rin, and tricked him into drinking a concoction<br />
of their own. The result unexpectedly healed his unsteady hands but twisted Olo'rin's mind and<br />
perception. Now, he is the powerful sorcerer, doctor, and alchemist he had dreamed of being... only his<br />
mind is not what it used to be.

BACKGROUND<br />
Geta is a Valkyrie. She and many others like her chose who will live and die in battle. For them,<br />
victory after victory, loss after loss, it was always about the conflict. Geta, like many other Valkyries,<br />
eventually took on a mortal lover. But unlike her comrades, Geta had more heart. She grew to care for<br />
the human, and when he took to battle, it was evident that he would likely die. Rather than plead for his<br />
life, she stoically watched his blood being shed on the battle field. Upon his dying breath, something<br />
inside her snapped and she took up her weapon and shield, and found herself amongst the very<br />
mortals she observed. Geta now fights alongside those she had previously sent to die. While she lost<br />
the respect of other Valkyries who ripped her wings from her, she gained so much more by giving her<br />
life to the mortals who fought and bled next to her lover. To them, she is Geta the Impenetrable.

BACKGROUND<br />
Jatus Ironskin is the adopted son of Thadeus Ironskin, an accomplished military commander with<br />
many wars under his belt. It was during his most famous campaign against the Northern Minotaurs that<br />
Thadeus discovered a minotaur calf in the clutches of his dead mother. Thadeus ordered the calf to be<br />
taken so that he may study the creatures further. It was the observation of the minotaur cub growing<br />
that softened his heart. Declaring that minotaurs could indeed become civilized, Thadeus officially<br />
declared Jatus Ironskin as his son. Jatus had everything his heart could desire. He would often steal<br />
away between his military studies to read and write to his heart's content. When the aging Thadeus<br />
passed away, Jatus made peace with his neighbors and opened an orphanage in honor of his father.<br />
He now spends most of his free time teaching at the orphanage and running his library.

BACKGROUND<br />
Remy always considered himself to be the best of the best. However, he wasn't allowed to join<br />
even the junior ranks of the royal guard on account of his questionable mentality. So he began<br />
operating on his own, as a rogue musketeer in service of his country. He maintained his uniform so<br />
precisely that he was often mistaken as an elite military official and enjoyed the privileges of such.<br />
However, for Remy, it wasn't about the perks. All that mattered was undermining any threat to the<br />
Crown, or, as was usually the case, perceived threat to the Crown. His exploits resulted in divided<br />
feelings for the misguided musketeer. When the formed bearer of the Crown died, the new heir decided<br />
to make an example of him and place Remy in prison. Sympathizers eventually broke Remy free and<br />
he now roams the land, protecting the people from the tyranny of this new and impostor regime.

BACKGROUND<br />
Amako Orcus was captured by Atlantean guards during his youth and subjected to torture and<br />
forced slavery. Due to his immense size and brutality, he was chosen to begin training for the gladiator<br />
program. He often resisted his captors and, as a result, was beaten severely for his disobedience. One<br />
night, while he lay sore and broken, Amako decided to end his life rather than continue this life of<br />
servitude. His captor, noticing his despondency, intervened by declaring his victory over Amako. “You<br />
die tonight and I win.” were the words that encouraged Amako to persevere for the day he would take<br />
his freedom. So he trained, and he fought more ferociously than ever before. Eventually, he became too<br />
strong for his own chains and Amako escaped and pinned his captor to the wall with his trident. Smiling,<br />
he spoke, “I win. You're exactly the beast I wanted you to become." Amako now fights to free others.
