• Pawlowski combined to go 20-6 in 1985...he posted a 9-3 record at Clemson and was 11-3 at Niagara<br />

Falls <strong>of</strong> the Class A New York-Penn League.<br />

• In 1982, Pawlowski became was the first Clemson recruit to be flown in on an <strong>of</strong>ficial visit.<br />

• In 1990, Pawlowski became the first player taken in the minor league draft <strong>of</strong> unprotected players...he<br />

was selected by the San Diego Padres.<br />

• Over the course <strong>of</strong> six years as a pitching coach, only once has his staff had an ERA over 5.00.<br />
