66th Annual Miami<br />

International Boat Show<br />

& Strictly Sail<br />

Miami, Feb. 15-19<br />

One of the largest boat shows in the world, this event<br />

combines the main show at the Miami Convention<br />

Center, the 22nd Annual Strictly Sail Miami Show at the<br />

Miamarina at Bayside Marketplace and the Yacht and<br />

Brokerage Show on the 5000 block of Collins Avenue with<br />

in-water displays of powerboats at the Sea Isle Marina<br />

and Yachting Center at 1633 North Bayshore Dr., Miami.<br />

The Strictly Sail Miami Show is the largest catamaran<br />

show in the world. Sailboats of all sizes, monohulls and<br />

multihulls, are on display along with numerous vendors<br />

and exhibitors. Boating and sailing seminars are held daily.<br />

Discover Sailing will be offering free introductory lessons<br />

and sailing on Miami’s Biscayne Bay.<br />

Children ages six and older can take part in a free, funfilled,<br />

hands-on boat-building supervised workshop from<br />

noon to 6 p.m. during the show. Participating kids receive<br />

a free T-shirt, while parents can walk the docks while their<br />

kids are occupied with the workshop where they will participate<br />

in building small boats and other tasks.<br />

Children 12 and under free. $16 for adults for a oneday<br />

pass, $26 for a two-day pass, Friday through Monday.<br />

Premier Thursday costs $28. 10-6 Thursday, 10-8 Friday<br />

through Sunday, 10-6 Monday. In-water displays close at<br />

6 p.m. E-tickets can be purchased in advance at<br />

www.miamiboatshow.com or www.strictlysail.com. All<br />

tickets include entry to the convention center show and<br />

vice versa if you purchase the tickets at the center. If you<br />

go to the convention center, a shuttle will take you to the<br />

sailboat show and vice versa.<br />

401 Biscayne Blvd. Miami<br />

From the North: I-95 South to exit 395/Miami Beach<br />

East, exit at Biscayne Blvd. Turn right; follow Biscayne<br />

to Port Blvd. (NE 5th Street). Turn left; follow righthand<br />

lane into the Bayside Garage.<br />

From the South: I-95 North. Exit at Biscayne Blvd.<br />

Stay in left-hand lane until the stop sign at Biscayne.<br />

Turn left on NE 3rd Street. Follow the left side of the<br />

road into the Bayside Garage.<br />

Additional Parking if Bayside is Full New to this<br />

year’s show is the park-and-ride facility at the<br />

American Airlines Arena, just two blocks from<br />

Bayside. The daily rate is $10 per day, and a shuttle<br />

bus will pick you up and transport you to the show<br />

location of your choice<br />
