“I never thought about
attending a women’s college
prior to SCA. Now, I am part of
an empowering and inspiring
community of young women,
which has let me grow as an
individual and scholar.”
Since the first graduating class in
2005, SCA Scholars have enrolled
in more than 65 colleges and
universities across the U.S.
Consistently, SCA Scholars graduate
from high school with top academic
honors and pursue higher education.
Many earn prestigious national awards
following high school, including
the Gates Millennium and Posse
Foundation Scholarships.
One hundred percent of the SCA
Scholars high school class of 2012
will enroll in higher education within
six months of graduation; 95% will
matriculate directly into four-year
institutions. Of this group, over half will
attend a private college or university and
47% will attend a “very selective” or
“most selective” school.
“At SCA, I was constantly
encouraged to think critically
when confronted with an
issue or idea. That experience
has helped me prepare for
college and for life!”
