No holiday for us this year- we are back to calving the old cows and<br />
a lot of heifers. Jay picked a nice warm day to come and select bulls<br />
and since then we have had snow and more snow with cold blowing<br />
winds. The bulls in our pen were developed on an oat and pellet<br />
ration along with free choice hay and minerals. We are pleased to<br />
have a couple of outstanding long yearlings for offer this year. They<br />
can go to work to cover those extra cows. The balance of the bulls<br />
will also have passed a semen test before sale day and be ready<br />
to work for you. Feel free to come by for a look and a cup of coffee.<br />

Our first calf born last year and he lost a bit of his ears, but that will not affect his<br />
breeding ability. Shear Force are known for calving ease, and take a look at his milk<br />
EPD’s - 14.6 for a black bull it is well above average. With only an 83 lb birth weight<br />
– here is a heifer bull to consider.<br />
