Title Description<br />

Declaration made by Father Calixto Aldrete of Compostela<br />

concerning a search made for baptismal records of Dona Maria<br />

<strong>Valle</strong>, daughter of Don Antonio Seferino <strong>Valle</strong> and Dona Maria Pena.<br />

Upon failure to find same in Compostela it was probable said<br />

documents were not within the city. However, witnesses (Antonio de<br />

Leon, Jose Medina, Narsiso Avechis) vouched for the fact that Maria<br />

<strong>Valle</strong> was the legitimate daughter of said couple. Signed and<br />

witnessed at No. 1697 above. (These documents were obtained<br />

following the death of Antonio del <strong>Valle</strong> to prove identities of the<br />

Ygnacio del <strong>Valle</strong> married the grand-daughter of Rosa Ruiz de Avila<br />

agrees to loan Abila the sum of 2500 pesos in exchange for 1250<br />
