San Francisco to his father regarding the trouble Ygnacio will have in
disposing of the brandy and wines from Camulos in the larger liquor
stores of the San Francisco through an inability to compete with
prices of imported liquors. He also mentions the capture of Vasquez,

Letter from R. F. del Valle at San Francisco to his father concerning
personal matters such as money not arriving for room and board;
also says they took Vasquez by steamer to Monterey where he
would be tried and that huge crowds of curious sightseers thronged
to get a look at the bandit and artists came to make pictures of him.
