Dual pressure controllers for high and<br />
low pressure<br />
Description<br />
017 models are dual mechanical pressure switches for high<br />
and low pressure with unipolar SPDT switch, which closes<br />
and opens when the pressure increases or decreases.<br />
These pressure switches can be operated automatically both<br />
with high and low pressure, have a manual reset button<br />
for high and low pressure, and can be configured with<br />
automatic cycle for low pressure and manual reset for high<br />
pressure.<br />
The tripping pressure can be adjusted by means of a screw<br />
on all versions, while the differential is adjustable on models<br />
with automatic reset. Some models have T.U.V. barometric<br />
capsules.<br />
Models with this configuration have a “capsule enclosed in<br />
the capsule” so that the second capsule holds the coolant<br />
and stops the plant when a leak occurs in the working<br />
capsule.<br />
The 4000 model with dual signal enables to establish if the<br />
compressor has been disconnected due to a high or low<br />
pressure. Standard versions have a male flared fitting. It is<br />
also possible to order versions with 1,000 mm integrated<br />
capillary with flared fitting and nut or versions with rigid<br />
tube (100 mm length, 6 mm diameter) when the thermostat<br />
is brazed to the cooling plant.<br />
All versions without capillary can be equipped with a<br />
stainless steel fitting for ammonia.<br />

Scale: p.s.i. and bar (bar only for T.U.V. models).<br />
Connections to pressure line: 7/16 – 20 UNF straight output<br />
male connector, 1/4 flared female connector.<br />
Electrical ratings: the electrical rating of the unipolar SPDT<br />
switch, except for versions with dual signal, is 16(16)A<br />
250Va N.O. or N.C.; 1(1)A 250Va on the opposite side.<br />
Model 017 with dual signal: transmitted with terminals 1<br />
and 4 as above; the maximum current between terminals<br />
1–2 and 1–3 is 0.1A 250Va.<br />
Compliance: all models are compliant with EN60730–2–6<br />
and EN60730–2–9, and manufactured in accordance with<br />
the requirements of standard ISO9001. These thermostats<br />
are also compliant with current European standards.<br />
Special versions only: USA (UL) and Canada (CSA) 17 FLA<br />
102 LRA 250Va.<br />
Terminals of model O17 standard: 1 common, 2 opens when<br />
the pressure increases, 4 closes when the low pressure<br />
increases and opens when the high pressure increases.<br />
Terminals of model 017 with dual signal: 1 common 2 closes<br />
the signal circuit when the low pressure decreases, 3 closes<br />
the signal circuit when the high pressure increases, 4 closes<br />
the signal circuit when the low pressure increases and<br />
opens it when the high pressure increases.<br />
Cable input: 14 mm insulated bushing.<br />
Coolants: suitable to be used with all types of gases.<br />
Mounting: two male holes on the rear of the controller for<br />
the insertion of M4x6 mm screws (supplied with the<br />
thermostat).<br />
