<strong>The</strong> HFI Process<br />
<strong>The</strong> standard HFI Process is well described through several documents 1 – including<br />
overviews and detailed descriptions, and what to do when, supported by which<br />
methods and tools. Figure 3 maps the key elements of the HFI Process (including both<br />
technical and management activities) to key activities as part of the HFI requirements<br />
specification and assurance process. It includes an overlay of the currently defined HFI<br />
System Readiness Levels (SRLs) and selected MoD Acquisition activities as part of the<br />
CADMID lifecycle stages. HFI activities are defined under the HFI Process requirements<br />
in the <strong>Human</strong> Factors Integration Plan (HFIP). <strong>The</strong>ir implementation is depicted under<br />
‘Observe Implementation’.<br />
