Corporate Partner Opportunities<br />

The ASC Foundation supports the ASC by funding activities in Education, Advocacy and Research. These activities can<br />

be opportunities for corporate partners to participate in the ASC’s mission. By underwriting these opportunities, your<br />

company attains maximum visibility and credibility among the leaders in cytopathology. The ASC Foundation invites<br />

you to become a part of the ASC’s efforts to foster excellence in cytopathology and reap the benefits of a relationship<br />

between the ASC and the cytopathology community.<br />

Cytotechnologist<br />

ASC <strong>Annual</strong> <strong>Scientific</strong> <strong>Meeting</strong><br />

Travel Scholarships<br />

The ASC Foundation awards $2,000.00 each to five qualified<br />

cytotechnologists, who are ASC members and in their first two<br />

years of practice, to attend the ASC <strong>Annual</strong> <strong>Scientific</strong> <strong>Meeting</strong>.<br />

This scholarship, based on need and merit, defrays registration,<br />

travel and hotel costs, and includes funding for one workshop,<br />

a panel luncheon, and per diem allowance.<br />

Pathology Residents or Cytopathology Fellows, who are ASC members<br />

to attend the ASC <strong>Annual</strong> <strong>Scientific</strong> <strong>Meeting</strong>. This scholarship, based<br />

and includes funding for one workshop, a panel luncheon and<br />

per diem allowance.<br />

The ASC has increased emphasis on public education and awareness<br />

and understanding of the need to adopt early detection practices –<br />

especially women regarding cervical cancers. The ASC Foundation<br />

is funding Patient Advocacy Grants, which are available to ASC<br />

members, advocacy patient groups and neighboring societies.<br />

The ASC Foundation awards one Patient Advocacy Grant ($10,000)<br />

annually for ongoing or new projects focusing on advocacy efforts<br />

for patients with gynecologic and other cancers, or to educate<br />

patients on the need for effective screening programs.<br />

A 50% deposit of the total amount<br />

must accompany all agreements.<br />

Final payment is due by September<br />

15, 2013. A commitment is due<br />

by September 1 st , in order to have<br />

your name and advertisements<br />

listed in the Program Book. Deposits<br />

are non-refundable. Cancellation<br />

requests must be in writing.<br />

Corporate partners must verify that<br />

they have no connection to the<br />

decision-making process of any ASC’s<br />

<strong>Annual</strong> <strong>Scientific</strong> <strong>Meeting</strong> program.<br />

The ASC appreciates the role that<br />

industry can play in support of<br />

educational activities. Recognizing<br />

the importance of this role, the ASC is<br />

committed to maintaining a mutually<br />

beneficial partnership with industry.<br />
