MEDIA INFORMATION The Thiel College sports information office provides complete
information and media services for the institution's 21 intercollegiate sports.
The office is responsible for all public and media relations pertaining to athletics,
athletic department publications, the athletic department's Internet web site, statistical
and historical record keeping for all sports and other promotional activities
regarding the athletic department.
The sports information office is located in the Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia.
MEDIA CREDENTIALS Media credentials are available through the sports information
office by contacting Kevin Fenstermacher by phone at 724.589.2187 or by e-
mail at kfenstermacher@thiel.edu. Credentials can be picked up at the sports
information office until the Friday before the game and at the ticket window of
Alumni Stadium the day of the game.
PARKING Parking for the media is available in the lot behind the Rissell-Beeghly
Gymnasia. You must contact Kevin Fenstermacher by 12 p.m. on Thursday to
reserve a parking pass for that lot.
INTERVIEWS All interviews with college coaches, student-athletes and staff members
must be arranged through the sports information office. After games, matches
and other athletic events, locker rooms are generally closed to members of the
media. Player and coach interviews, however, may be conducted outside locker
room entrances or on the playing surface
after a minimal, 10-minute cooling off
period for participants (per NCAA regulations).
The visiting teams will determine
their locker room policies.
STATISTICS Statistics will be available in
the press box at halftime. After the
game, complete play-by-play and statistical
summaries will be made available in
the press box. Please allow 20 minutes
following the end of the game for statistics
to be completed. Prior to the game
all statistical information may be found
on the Thiel athletic website at
www.thiel.edu/athletics.

GAME DAY INFORMATION Rosters,
depth charts and game notes will be
available online and will also be provided
in the press box prior to the game.
PRACTICES Practices are generally open
to members of the media. Prior notice of
attendance is appreciated.
