29th Annual Christmas in the Park<br />
December 7th thru 10th. 6 to 8:30 PM<br />
<strong>Clute</strong> Municipal Park<br />
Santa Claus, Christmas Trees, Marshmallows for roasting<br />
Seasonal Choirs and Dance Groups. Come out and enjoy the<br />
sights and sounds of the holiday season, visiting with Santa<br />
and viewing the lighted displays and beautifully decorated<br />
Christmas trees. If you are interested in displaying a tree or<br />
being a vendor, Call 265-8392 for info.<br />
PLANETARIUM SHOW<br />
Every Tuesday night in December at 7 pm. Tickets sold at the door<br />
$4/adult, $3/child. For info. call 265-3376 or visit www.bcfas.org<br />
Fire Hydrant Flushing<br />
December 6th - 10th 4:00 am 6:30 am You could experience<br />
low water pressure during this time.<br />
Heavy Trash and Brush Pick Up<br />
Take pride in your city and your home. Place heavy trash and brush<br />
out by Wednesday of your zone. Follow the dates and check in the<br />
back of the calendar to determine what zone you live in.<br />
RECYCLE DAY IS EVERY WEDNESDAY<br />
1. Recyclables must be at curbside no later than 7:30 a.m.<br />
each Wednesday. Recyclables placed at curbside after<br />
7:30 a.m. may not be picked until your next scheduled<br />
pick up date.<br />
2. ONLY city approved, tied, blue bags not to exceed 50<br />
lbs. will be accepted.<br />
3. All cardboard must be flattened.<br />
4. Newspaper accepted in Brown & Blue grocery bags.<br />
5. Wet newspaper & cardboard will not be picked up.<br />
6. Rinse & Clean all food and beverage containers.<br />
7. Motor Oil will not be accepted.<br />
8. GLASS Containers will NOT be accepted.<br />
9. The <strong>City</strong> of <strong>Clute</strong> reserves the right to refuse<br />
unacceptable items.<br />
