Heavy Trash & Brush Pick Up Schedule
Take pride in your city and your home. Place heavy trash and brush out by the SATURDAY
of your zone. Follow the dates below and check in the back of the calendar to determine
what zone you live in. NOTE: Must be put out no later than Wednesday of your zone.

Recycle Day is Every Wednesday
(Have at Curbside by 7:30 a.m.)
Blue Bags: #1 & #2 Plastics, Aluminum, Tin; Put Newspapers
in Brown or Blue Grocery Bags; Lay Cardboard Flat. Watch for
the recycle emblem every Wednesday.
RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE RECYCLING RULES
1. Recyclables must be at curbside no later than 7:30 a.m. each
Wednesday. Recyclables placed at curbside after 7:30 a.m.
may not be picked up until your next scheduled pick up date.
2. ONLY city approved, tied, blue bags not to exceed 50 lbs.
will be accepted.
3. All cardboard must be flattened.
4. Newspaper accepted in Brown & Blue grocery bags.
5. Wet newspaper & cardboard will not be picked up.
6. Rinse & Clean all food and beverage containers.
7. Motor Oil will not be accepted.
8. GLASS Containers will NOT be accepted.
9. The City of Clute reserves the right to refuse any
unacceptable items.
