Photo-activated Therapy
Photo-activated therapy is indispensable in modern
medicine since the 1990s. For the treatment of tumors,
skin diseases and wound infections.
Since the middle of the 90s Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rainer Hahn has been working on
photosensitizers and compatible light sources. Dr. Frank Schynowski is one of
the most experienced chemist in the field of PACT. Cumdente has developed
to a leading company in this field of dentistry and medicine.
Mode of Action
PACT ®
• kills gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria,
analog to the mechanism of the granylocytes in
our host response (activated oxygen)
• destroys biofilms and cell walls
• destroys bacterial lipopolysaccarides, phospholipides
etc.
• blocks bacteria enzymes and proteinases
• reduces bacterial virulence
• promotes tissue regeneration and collagene
growth
Even clyndamycin and metronidazoleresistent
germs. Spares somatic cells
(cell membrane).

PACT ® 300
99,99 % of all oral bacteria are killed during the
20 s PACT ® -treatment. Without any side effects.
No resistances.
1.1 PACT ® - Perio Therapy
Alternative to systemic and local antibiotics.
For aggressive and chronic forms of periodontitis.
Improves the tissue regeneration.
Your advantages: Gentle closed therapy, even of
deep (> 5 mm), bleeding (BOP) and refractory
pockets. Perio surgery can be prevented, recall
intervals can be extended.
1.2 PACT ® -Periimplantitis Therapy
For the closed and open application. Preserves the
sensitive implant surface.
Your advantage: Rapid healing.

Indication
1.3 PACT ® -caries-/cavities-/stump-/soft tissue-
»sterilisation«
Eliminates bacteria deep into the dentine (tubules),
reduces pulp infections, preserves the pulp.
Your Advantage: Often reduces pulp necrosis.
1.4 PACT ® -Endo Therapy
Eliminates bacteria, also pathogenic germs in
the root canal from deep down in the side canals,
caverns and dentine tubules.
Your Advantage: Elimination of germs also in the
dentine walls.
1.5 PACT ® -Bone and soft tissue therapy
E.g. in infected alveolus, herpes simplex, membrane
infections, with immediate implants and before
augmentations etc.
Your Advantage: Painless therapy without delayed
wound healing.

PACT ® 300
Broad spectrum bactericide
PACT ® often replaces the dental antibiotic therapy, also in case of agressive periodontitis
and periimplantitis.
PACT ® can sustainably inactivate and dissolute biofilms, reduces viruses and fungi without
any discoloration and without any side effects.
PACT ® improves common treatments, e.g. scaling, root planing, root canal
and caries treatment.
PACT ® minimises problems in immediate implantation.
PACT ® improves the treatment of bone infections, ulcers and dolor post.
PACT ® improves the prognosis of bone and soft tissue surgery and of augmentations
in implantology.
PACT ® can be used easily and economically.
PACT ® can be delegated to the assistant.
PACT ® has over 10 years of experience and a wealth of scientific studies.
PACT ® is recommended by german and international experts.
Clinic
The tolonium chloride photosenitizer has been proven safe for the
therapy of poisonings for a long time. Initially, such patients attracted
attention by getting sensitised by light. As a result the photoactivated
therapy with tolonium chloride was developed.
Under irradiation with the PACT ® light source, the applied PACT ®
sensitizer attacks (after a short residence time) the cell walls of
bacteria, virus and fungi. Thereby, PACT ® is also effective against
antibiotic resistant bacteria as well as deep under the surface.
After therapy (from 20 seconds) the dye is rinsed of without residue.
Nothing hinders the wound healing, nothing affects the aesthetic.
Regeneration is promoted.
