OVEC Achievements www.themegallery.com 1.5 Promoting Brand of “R People” OVEC has enhanced an important project on improving characters of TVE students. The main objective is to provide good public image and new paradigm of TVE students. A number of TVE students from both public and private institutions are selected as prototype or model to represent other TVE students to the public. They must possess 5R characters with include Relation, Responsibility, Refresh, Representative, and Rescue; therefore, they are called “R People” or prototype of TVE students.

Fostering Entrepreneurship or Self-Employment OVEC has implemented the following activities to foster entrepreneurship or of TVE students Creating chains of business partnership to support OVEC programme Providing information in business opportunity Establishing incubator training centers in colleges Developing capacity of staff Changing teaching, learning and assessing methodologies Developing pilot project on “One College One Business” The students interested in self-employment will be provided with not only skills and experiences in organizing, and implementing small business but also being facilitated to funding sources. Team working is also encouraged.
