OVEC Achievements www.themegallery.com 3.2 The Post Tsunami Reconstruction During the Post Tsunami Reconstruction, TVE students have played important roles in both helping local people and working cooperatively with other agencies in the following activities: Repairing and construction houses Repairing occupational tools, cars, ship engines, and fishing boats Training needed skills Organizing information system Providing foods, services, and shelters for those people who were affected by Tsunami OVEC has an attempt to creates a good image of TVE students. For this reason, during the Post Tsunami, TVE students were assigned and played an important part in reconstruction. Through this activity, TVE students gained recognition from local communities and, at the same time, they had learning experiences and problem solving skills in real situation.
OVEC Achievements www.themegallery.com 3.3 Repairing and Constructing Schools In cooperation with the Basic <strong>Education</strong> <strong>Commission</strong> Office, TVE colleges have played important roles in repairing and constructing primary schools in rural and risky areas. This activity helps students to learn more on the job and earn income.
