Pumps bring reliability and safety<br />

Designed for handheld gas and leak detection warning devices, the 1010 Series diaphragm<br />

compressors and pumps from Thomas have been tested for 4000 h of nonstop<br />

operation. The series also features oil-less operation, a sealed air path for contamination-free<br />

analysis, and a restart option at low temperatures for use in cold environments.<br />

Maximum continuous pressure is rated to .6 bar, and maximum vacuum to -500 mbar.<br />

has introduced a single process<br />

point dual pressure/temperature<br />

transmitter. Model AST46PT is<br />

said to offer a pressure reading<br />

along with a temperature sensor<br />

output for less than the cost of a<br />

stand-alone temperature sensor.<br />

Pneumatic rod locks<br />

Advanced Machine & Engineering<br />

has introduced the Amlok RLI<br />

power-off rod lock. The RLI Metric<br />

(ISO 6431) series features include<br />

anodized aluminum construction,<br />

a heavy-duty clamp system and<br />

power-off clamping. The unit uses<br />

dry-filtered air, has a release pressure<br />

ranging from a minimum of 4 bar to<br />
