94 u A <strong>Warm</strong> <strong>Call</strong> <strong>from</strong> <strong>Hizb</strong> <strong>ut</strong>-<strong>Tahrir</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Muslims</strong><br />
makes <strong>the</strong>m hostile <strong>to</strong> us, <strong>the</strong>n we cannot save ourselves <strong>from</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
actions and consequently we cannot over<strong>com</strong>e <strong>the</strong>m. If we do not take<br />
<strong>the</strong>m as an enemy undoubtedly we will p<strong>ut</strong> ourselves under <strong>the</strong>ir control<br />
and be at <strong>the</strong>ir mercy. He says:<br />
"Surely, Shaytan is an enemy <strong>to</strong> you, so take (treat) him as an enemy" [TMQ<br />
Fatir: 6].<br />
The Qur'an has mentioned <strong>the</strong> way in which we should deal with <strong>the</strong><br />
Kuffar in clear verses which alert one's thoughts and which waken <strong>the</strong><br />
intellect and incite <strong>the</strong> emotions. He said:<br />
"O you who believe! Take not My enemy and your enemy as friends, showing<br />
affection <strong>to</strong>wards <strong>the</strong>m, while <strong>the</strong>y have disbelieved in what has <strong>com</strong>e <strong>to</strong> you of <strong>the</strong><br />
tr<strong>ut</strong>h" [TMQ Al-Mumtahinah: 1].<br />
And He said:<br />
"Let not <strong>the</strong> believers take <strong>the</strong> disbelievers as Awliyaa (helpers, supporters) instead<br />
of <strong>the</strong> believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allah in any way"<br />
[TMQ Al-Imran: 28].<br />
And He said:<br />
"They wish that you reject Faith, as <strong>the</strong>y have rejected Faith, thus that you all<br />
be<strong>com</strong>e equal (like one ano<strong>the</strong>r)" [TMQ An-Nisa: 89].<br />
And He said:<br />
"Give <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> hypocrites <strong>the</strong> tidings that <strong>the</strong>re is for <strong>the</strong>m a painful <strong>to</strong>rment.Who<br />
take disbelievers as Awliyaa (helpers, protec<strong>to</strong>rs) instead of believers" [TMQ An-<br />
Nisa: 138-139].<br />
And He said:<br />
"O you who believe! Take not as Awliyaa (helpers, protec<strong>to</strong>rs) disbelievers instead<br />
of believers. Do you wish <strong>to</strong> offer Allah a manifest proof against yourselves"<br />
[TMQ An-Nisa: 144]<br />
And He said:<br />
"O you who believe! Take not as Awliyaa (helpers, protec<strong>to</strong>rs) those who take<br />
your religion for a mockery and fun, <strong>from</strong> among those who received <strong>the</strong> Scripture<br />
before you, nor <strong>from</strong> among <strong>the</strong> disbelievers" [TMQ Al-Mai’dah: 57].<br />
And He said:<br />
A <strong>Warm</strong> <strong>Call</strong> <strong>from</strong> <strong>Hizb</strong> <strong>ut</strong>-<strong>Tahrir</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Muslims</strong> u 95<br />
"Verily, <strong>the</strong> disbelievers are ever <strong>to</strong> you open enemies" [TMQ An-Nisa: 101].<br />
