Main Galleries
This exhibition will partner eight contemporary artists
with community members to create installation projects
in the new gallery space. Community Creates presents
compelling contemporary installations in a wide range of
media—painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, and
new media--created by important emerging and established
Bay Area artists. A highlight of the exhibition is Angela Buenning
Filo’s The Palo Alto Forest, which features hundreds of
photographs of trees in Palo Alto, asking the community to
consider the question: How do the trees that surround us
impact our lives
