Amazing Desert Journey VBS 2012!!
Give a Child the Opportunity to Go to School
VBS dates are Sunday, July 15th through Thursday, July 19th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
VBS is open to ages 4 years old through 4 th grade. Registration is free!!
Please call (835-1709)or email the church office to register. This is the registration
info you will need to provide: child’s name and grade they are going into, parent’s name
and a contact phone number. You can email this info to Robin at

Shannon at scliff@wasecagracelutheran.com.
We are still looking for a few substitutes for teachers & helpers,

Why school supplies To the children who receive School
Kits, these supplies mean the difference between getting an
education or not. Public school is usually free, but in the
places where Lutheran World Relief works, even a few required
supplies, like pens and paper, may be more than many
families can afford.
And when parents can only afford to send one of their children
to school, girls rarely get priority…yet the education
level of mothers has the biggest impact on development.
The Waseca Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is
teaming up local churches to assemble 100 backpacks. Grace
Lutheran has been given the charge of providing 100 30 centimeter
rulers. Please add a couple of them to your shopping
cart and bring to the church by September 3 rd .
