and insert the S-NX<br />

conversion kit (geared<br />

takes not more time<br />

than just replacing<br />

the elastic r ing as<br />

such. <strong>The</strong> gear- and<br />

<strong>motor</strong>-side hubs and<br />

the brake disc can be<br />

kept in place and a<br />

re-alignment of the<br />

drive is not required.<br />

M o r e o v e r ,<br />

considerable ef<strong>for</strong>ts<br />

have been spent to<br />

improve the gearcoupling<br />

design as<br />

s u c h . T h e g e a re d<br />

par t of the S-NX<br />

( m a d e o f h i g h -<br />

grade <strong>for</strong>ged steel)<br />

is fully encapsulated<br />

and provided by the<br />

manufacturer, with<br />

a long-life g rease<br />

filling. Re-greasing is<br />

not required (similar<br />

to encapsulated ball<br />

b e a r i n g s ) a n d n o<br />

external seals needed<br />

to be fitted dur ing<br />

installation. And just<br />

in case: all parts can,<br />

of course, be replaced<br />

later without moving<br />

the drive or gearbox.<br />
