Susan Weeks Coulter<br />
Susan Weeks Coulter is a founder and chairwoman of the Global Film<br />
<strong>Initiative</strong>, a nonprofit organization that promotes cross-cultural understanding<br />
through film. She travels extensively throughout the world to support narrative<br />
film development from underrepresented countries.<br />
Prior to founding the Global Film <strong>Initiative</strong>, Mrs. Coulter was a corporate<br />
marketing executive, public educator and community organizer. She is the<br />
former executive director of Queen’s Bench Foundation, a criminal justice<br />
education foundation, and was a member of the board for the Exploratorium<br />
and Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and for the Music Center in Los<br />
Angeles.<br />
Mrs. Coulter graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder and also<br />
served as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in India.
