ARCHITECTURAL GREY BROWN In terms of colours, Delta Light ® has taken to experimenting with a surface lacquer in grey brown - an exclusive colour, which also serves to make sure your outdoor lighting merges into the background. As a colour, grey brown relates to the natural materials found in gardens, such as foliage and wood. A neutral and inconspicuous colour - if you mix all tints together, what you get is grey brown - which brings a subtle and exclusive touch.
�� Take the application into consideration. First decide which elements of your garden you want to light up... directional lighting for a path, ambience lighting for green elements, accent lighting on your terrace etc. . Decide on the desired light intensity. Lighting a feature or area in the garden too heavily is a serious error because when a tree, a pond or a garden path is illuminated too strongly, everything else in the garden will look dark. When it comes to providing a functional and atmospheric effect outdoors, light fittings using LED technology offer the ideal solution. In the past, gardens have generally been lit with an all-or-nothing philosophy. The result is that a few powerful lights tend to make the rest of your garden disappear. This is a common mistake and not only because previously the lowest wattage available in garden lighting was roughly about 50 watts. In this scenario, led-lighting offers a nice solution, as in the dark you actually require less light, and therefore a lower wattage for your garden lighting. This is because in the dark, your pupils pick up more light and because less light makes everything look clearer in the dark. In other words, for lighting the exterior, less is more!
