Steinway International Piano Series Sinfonia Cymru Spring Residency
Sun 19 February 3pm
Leslie Howard
Leslie Howard plays Liszt –
need we say more? Howard’s
94-disc recording of Liszt’s
complete piano music is one
of the most stupendous
musical achievements of our
time. No pianist on earth
plays Liszt like Howard, but
that’s not all he plays, and in
this unmissable concert he
tackles two more landmarks
of the romantic repertoire:
Beethoven’s Eroica Variations
and Rachmaninov’s
barnstorming First Sonata.
A living legend, and what’s
sure to be an afternoon to
remember.
