Smooth upper stop
A roller shutter curtain hanging loosely out of the
box when the roller shutter is (supposedly) fully
open can cause unpleasant flapping noises when
the wind blows.
In order to avoid this noise, and at the same time
to protect both the curtain and the roller shutter
box, drives with this function pull the roller shutter
against the upper stop gently.
“Silent” comfort to ensure the maximum service
life of your roller shutters system
Soft obstacle detection
with reversing
When an obstacle (such as a flowerpot) is met
during downwards travel, the drive stops automatically,
and relieves the curtain by a short upwards
movement (reversing). The roller shutter is not
damaged.
No health concerns
There are a number of different reservations about
the use of radio products. In particular, a great deal
of thought is given to their effect on health. A few
facts:
The very low radiated power from BECKER radio
transmitters and their effect on the human body,
as compared with a typical mobile telephone:
The products used with BECKER drives transmit
for only a few milliseconds at the moment of
operation.
Mobile telephones transmit continuously. The
maximum transmission output of BECKER transmitters
is just 10 mW, the mean value is approx.
4 mW. The transmission output of mobile telephones
can be up to 2000 mW. Becker transmitters
are operated in the hand or against a wall. A maximum
of about 0.025 mW reaches the operator’s
head, whereas during a call a mobile telephone
continuously exposes the user’s head to between
100 and 2000 mW, depending how far away the
transmitter mast is.
868.3 MHz radio
Transmits only at the moment of
operation (milliseconds)
Maximum transmission output
10 mW, mean value approx. 4 mW
Is used in the hand or mounted
against the wall, i.e. not directly
against the body. At most about
0.025 mW reaches the head
Mobile telephone
Transmits continuously
Maximum transmission output
2000 mW
Is operated next to the head, meaning
that during a telephone call the
user’s head is continuously exposed
to between about 100 mW and a
maximum of 2000 mW (depending
on the distance from the transmitter
mast)
