Causes of <strong>Obsessive</strong> <strong>Compulsive</strong> <strong>Disorder</strong> are not fully<br />

understood by scientists and medical examiners today. But<br />

there are three main theories they believe there could be to<br />

cause OCD. Biologists believe that OCD is a big reason in the<br />

change of the Chemistry in your body. OCD also, may have<br />

genetic components that are yet to be found.<br />

Environmentalists believe that OCD is Behavior Related habits<br />

that you learned over time. And lastly, all scientist’s believe<br />

that a lack in serotonin, a chemical messenger in your brain,<br />

has been said to have many contributions towards OCD.<br />

Symptoms of OCD, are such as constantly checking an oven<br />

to make sure its off, doing something over and over again<br />

such as washing your hands until your raw, people who hoard<br />

all there belongings, and lastly people who arrange things<br />

constantly when not needed.


Treatment options directly for OCD have<br />

not been discovered yet. It is important<br />

to find the right therapy for you and to<br />

begin therapy as soon as possible. One<br />

last way you can try to counter react<br />

OCD is by taking serotonin boost pill’s,<br />

because they a lack in serotonin has<br />

been known to be linked to OCD.
